ABOUT US

In 2019 our dear friend and collogue Collen was diagnosed with late stage cancer.  She was just a month beyond her 40th birthday and supposed to be living her best life. The news of course was devastating, however we all were hopefully optimistic. She immediately started radiation and chemotherapy. She was sore and weak, but amazingly strong. She came to work even though she didn't feel great. She just wanted to keep her life as normal as possible which helped her stay positive. As her soon as it looked like her treatments were working they then started failing, so more aggressive treatments were started. She wore her pain and her head warming beanie well. During this time Colleen needed time away from work to go to and recover from the treatments, but she also needed to make ends meet.  Other than giving her money there was no program in place to officially donate sick time or funds directly to her.  That's where the idea of Murphy's Law Dispatch Assistance Fund emerged. Through a generous founding donation from Coleen's amazing parents we were able to start this fund with the hopes of growing it and helping others in need when it seems like Murphy is out to get you. Contact us to learn more and get involved.
